- LD1 provides a high level of coverage & will install alarms in every room where a fire could start
- LD2 provides a medium level of coverage & will install alarms covering escape routes & high risk areas
- LD3 provides a minimum level of coverage & will install alarms covering escape routes

- In Scotland and Northern Ireland, your minimum level of protection is LD2.

- The British Standard BS 5839-6:2019 and building regulations recommend that all alarms within a property are interlinked
- Alarm interconnection helps to increase the speed occupants are made aware of a danger

Would you like to add an Alarm Control switch

the system for
easy alarm testing?
- The British Standard BS 5839-6:2019 and building regulations recommend installing an alarm controller as part of a fire alarm system
- Espire also recommend fitting a controller if the alarm system contains Fire, Heat and Carbon Monoxide alarms
